It pairs a big 1800mAh battery with a 30W output ceiling, a 0.88-inch colour TFT screen and 3A fast charging, all in an aluminium body that still slips into a jeans pocket. Two COREX 3.0 pods come in the box, so you can vape mouth-to-lung or restricted direct-to-lung straight away.

Battery that keeps up with a full day

The 1800mAh cell is large for a pod device this size and comfortably handles a day of moderate use. When it does run down, 3A charging brings it back to roughly half capacity in about ten minutes, with a full charge taking around 45 minutes. The screen shows remaining battery, wattage and puff count, so there's no guesswork.

Smoother draw, richer flavour

Vaporesso's VENTURI airflow system reshapes the air path to cut down draw noise and resistance, which makes the inhale noticeably quieter and softer than earlier XROS models. Behind it, COREX 3.0 mesh heats more evenly across the coil surface for cleaner flavour and a longer usable pod life. The 60s Smart Prime function saturates a fresh coil in about a minute, so you're not waiting ten minutes after every refill.

Which pod should you use?

The XROS 6 works with every pod in the XROS COREX replacement pods range, so you can tune the draw to suit you.

Pair the 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω pods with a 50/50 or nic salt e-liquid. Save your high-VG 100ml shortfill for the 0.4Ω pod. Variable wattage adjustment unlocks only with the 0.4Ω pod; the other resistances run on the three preset power modes.

Upgrading from the XROS 5?

The headline changes are the VENTURI airflow system, COREX 3.0 pods in place of COREX 2.0, SSS 2.0 leak resistance and the 60s priming function. Battery capacity and 30W output stay the same. How to use it

1. Charge the device with the supplied USB-C cable.
2. Remove the sticker from the base of the pod.
3. Pull off the mouthpiece and fill through the top port.
4. Insert the pod and hold the button for three seconds to run the 60s prime.
5. Click five times to power on.
6. Inhale, or hold the button, to vape.
7. Click twice to open the menu and switch between Eco, Normal and Power.
8. Slide the side airflow control to loosen or tighten the draw.
